Australia has confirmed its two overseas test matches in Bangladesh in June-July 2020.
Cricket Australia’s head of cricket operations Peter Roach confirmed it saying “We are delighted to be touring Bangladesh in June 2020.
“The two boards felt this was a more beneficial timing for the two Test series than the original date,” he also said.
Bangladesh announced they will host two games to be played for World Test Championship (WTC) points next year (2020).
“We were supposed to host two Tests in February, but now the Test series will be played in June-July 2020. Besides, it was fixed that a two-match Twenty20 International series would be played against Australia in October, but now they have agreed to play three T20 internationals and it will be played ahead of the World T20 in India, even though the date has not been finalized,” Bangladesh’s cricket operations chief Akram Khan said.
